Capacity, 1,100 RPM Stainless Steel Diamond Drum (Electronics) Had this washer installed yesterday and ran my first load. WOW! It held about three times my old Kenmore did, used about 1/4th the water which is amazing for a top-loader. It washed everything from my husbands greasy jeans to towels to sheets to delicate undies with ease. Its incredibly quiet and fast. I love this washer. Ive always owned top load machines and have used front loaders and just dont care for them so Im glad manufactuers have found a way to incorporate the energy efficiency of front loaders into this top loader. It takes a bit of getting used to seeing a tub without an agitator and I initially wondered how it would move the clothes around to get them washed and rinsed. The glass top lets you watch and its fun to see it work. Before buying this washer I researched online and in stores and narrowed down the models to this Samsung, a Maytag and LG.
