Our washer literally shook the house in the spin cycle. Now it vibrates about 50% less than before which is a huge improvement. These feet are solid and well built. I was looking at consumer reports do decide which washing machine to buy and they indicated that no matter which washer you buy, you need an isolating product if it is for the second level of your home. They recommended using this product. Shaking is now history, and I no longer have to worry about bugging my downstairs neighbors (one of many problems with living in a condo). One thing that may not be clear from the pictures is that the color (blue in this case) is only on the very bottom (most of the feet are still black), so when these are sitting under your washing machine, no one is going to notice it. The Silent Feet Anti-Walk pads work surprisingly well. I had a tiny closet, so I should have purchased the other style with the slidable rear pads. I figured out how to install them, with some cloth under them in the rear and it worked great. You absolutely MUST ensure that you have the machine's feet set so the machine is as perfectly level as you can get it. Using a stacked front loader set,with its extremely high spin speed, the Silent Feet Pads prevent most of the noise from going into the floor. I think they claim to reduce vibrations over 94% or such. That is true in my case as this new machine is actually quieter that a tradition top load laundry center I previously had.
